Menen

is a photographer based in New York City.  In photography, she seeks to portray the magic hidden in reality's arrangement of moments. As it stands, her portfolio includes pictures from Ethiopia, New York and Puerto Rico.
Menen holds a Masters in Human Rights Studies from Columbia University. Her documentary feature "Young Voices, New Dreams" depicts the stories and aspirations of street children and HIV/AIDS affected women from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Her essay “Invisible Women” is published in the book “All the Women in my Family Sing.”
